Maintaining Your Composite Door

Composite doors are designed to be low maintenance, but a little care will keep them looking their best for decades.

Regular Cleaning

Clean your door every few months with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads which can damage the surface.

Hardware Care

• Oil hinges and locks annually with light machine oil
• Check and tighten screws if loose
• Clean the threshold and drainage slots

What to Avoid

• Pressure washers (can damage seals)
• Solvent-based cleaners
• Leaving debris in the threshold
